CentroNía is a nationally recognized, multicultural learning community with a pioneering approach to bilingual education. While offering a welcoming environment that encourages intellectual adventure, CentroNía’s dynamic curriculum thrives to engage the whole family by providing guidance in each step of the way for children, youth and parents to achieve their goals. Programs include Early Childhood Education, Food and Wellness, Family Support, Out of School Time Programs, and the CentroNía Institute.

CentroNía’s Food and Wellness Department was created in 2007 with the mission of cooking nutritious meals, educating adults and children to adopt healthy lifestyles, advocating for better food policies, and expanding this holistic model across communities. We believe that wholesome lifestyles are essential to achieve academic and social success because they support the healthy physical and intellectual development of children and adults.

Here you’ll find out what we are doing and our next steps to affect more early childhood centers. Our resources page also includes many recipes, health tips and teaching materials that adults, parents, teachers will find useful!
